2003-2007 Honda ST1300 Tour Performance Bar Relocation Adapter
Heli Modified originally designed and released the ST1300 Tour Performance Bar Relocation Adapters in the spring of 2003. As it is customary for us to re-evaluate our design after one or two seasons, we have found several areas to make improvements to an already excellent design.
Using suggestions and feedback from many of our customers and dealers we set out to incorporate some of these improvements and added several other updates as well.
1" taller
2" rearward
Improved Angles

Stock Handlebars, Cables, and Hydraulic Lines

Thinner Shape
The shape now has a thinner, more angular profile and less "boxy" shape.
Our weight loss program carved 1/4 pound of material out of areas that did not require extra mass for strength. Our new shape was part of this weight reduction - no sense in adding needless weight to your motorcycle
Access Hole
We added an access hole which allows the steering stem nut to be loosened to facilitate fork bearing adjustment. This feature greatly reduces the labor required to perform this maintenance task as the bars and adapters do not need to be removed

Rotational Rubber Damper Buffers
Rotational Rubber Damper Buffers: One of the few complaints we received early on about our first bar adapters for the ST1300 was the increased forward and back play which some customers noticed more than others. The reason for this play is quite simple; because our design moves the handlebars up, back and out from their original location, the bars generate a greater amount of leverage. This additional leverage makes the bars exaggerate the motion of the factory rubber mounts. Our rubber rotation damper buffers greatly reduce this play - this will add to rider confidence and a generally tighter feel to the handlebars. This setup is for you!
Close-up of the new contour shape for 2006
The beveled lower edge blends better with the top triple clamp's profile and provides a better (smoother) path for the control housing wire looms. Older design cut into these lines and aesthetically looked a bit out of place
The "Standard" Cover
The "Standard" cover now has a cleaner appearance without auxiliary accessory mounting holes and hardware.
